From lab coats to conference rooms: here’s how our ICSM 2024 experience went down.

In July, six of us PhD students headed to Dresden for the International Conference on the Science of Materials (ICSM). It was a solid experience—presenting our research, getting feedback, and connecting with others in the field. We shared our work through posters and talks, which led to some useful discussions and ideas for what’s next.

A big thank you to our advisors, colleagues, and everyone who supported us on this journey. Dresden was a beautiful backdrop to a memorable conference, and we’re already looking forward to future events!
